Welcome to the Saturday Singles Dance's official website! Our dance site is situated in the northern suburbs of Allegheny County just north of Pittsburgh at the West View VFW, 386 Perry Highway. West View, PA 15229. Easily accessible by I-279, Exit 5 (Perrysville Ave./Rte. 19) or by traveling Rte. 19, yet located within a short traveling distance from all surrounding counties as well as nearby Ohio and West Virginia. Our dance is known for its large crowds, ample parking spaces, huge dance floor, special events, consistent yearly dance calendar, and expert organization. 317 people came out to celebrate with the Saturday Singles crowd at their "5th Year Anniversary Extravaganza" event on Saturday, May 11th at the West View VFW! There was a buzz of excitement in the air when the doors of the club first opened and it became abundantly clear that this group of men and women was ready to dance, party, and socialize! The evening began with a well-attended, free, fun line dance lesson taught by Dance Instructor, Ginny Crawford at 7:30 p.m. compliments of the Saturday Singles Dance! With a dance floor as large as ours, everyone can enjoy their favorite type of dance style whether it be freestyle, line dancing, slow dancing, partner or more structured styles of dance! Then from 8 p.m. to midnight, DJ Ron Hopkinson did a fabulous job of entertaining our guests with their favorite dance music! Our loyal Penguins fans enjoyed having the Pens playoff game televised at the dance and cheering the Penguins onto a win! The game definitely added to the energy of the evening! In addition, many compliments were received regarding the delicious pizza, wide assortment of desserts, and prizes! The Saturday Singles Dance is known for abundant amounts of free food at our events and this was proven again to be true last night! Many men and women were the lucky winners of Lottery Bags, CDs, Wine, and Chocolate Candy Assortments to name a few! We continue to be pleased to see so many new faces at each and every dance event! There was already much interest and excitement for our next dance, the "Great Giftcard Giveaway & Summer Kick-Off Party" on Saturday, May 25th! Read below for the details!
