Welcome to the Saturday Singles Dance's official website! Our dance site is situated in the northern suburbs of Allegheny County just north of Pittsburgh at the West View VFW, 386 Perry Hwy. West View, PA 15229. Easily accessible by I-279, Exit 5 (Perrysville Ave./Rte. 19) or Rte. 19, yet located within a short traveling distance from all surrounding counties as well as nearby Ohio and West Virginia. Our dance is known for its large crowds, ample parking spaces, huge dance floor, special events, consistent yearly dance calendar, and expert organization. A fabulous, energetic crowd of 242 people celebrated at the Saturday Singles' 3rd Year Anniversary Party Dance on Saturday, May 5th at the West View VFW! Numerous compliments were received regarding DJ Darrell's music, Ginny Crawford's line dance lesson that preceded the dance, the tasty pizza, delicious desserts, anniversary cakes, and cool giveaways that included giftcards, dance passes, and lottery tickets! The dance floor was filled with dancers 'til the doors closed at midnight! What a party! What a way to begin the Saturday Singles Dance's FOURTH YEAR of singles dances!! On Saturday, May 26th come join the Saturday Singles Dance at the West View VFW for a "Summer Kick-Off Party" featuring "Nacho Night" with a Nacho Bar including free nachos, cheese, salsa, and a variety of toppings! The evening begins at 7:30 p.m. with a free "Lambada Line Dance" lesson followed by the dance from 8:00 p.m to midnight featuring the music of DJ Ron Hopkinson! Also, later in the evening be a part of the CONGA LINE at the Saturday Singles Dance!! Check out the "Hot, Hot, Hot!" video and the step sheets links on the "Dance Class" page of this website. In addition, a "Speed Dating Pre-registration" table will be set up so you can register for our TENTH Speed Dating Night on Saturday, June 9th and enter for a chance to win TWO Restaurant Gift Cards just by participating in this fun ice-breaking activity!
